Cold War Projects is a collaboration with the Shetland based artist, Susan Timmins. Our work is based on perceptions of the Cold War on both sides of the Iron Curtain. We chronicle issues that ordinary people of both East and West faced during the Cold War. We include audiences of all ages in the questions posed by this period because we believe the Cold War holds relevant lessons for us today. Shetland, like other Northern communities, was strategically very important during the Cold War. These three projects represent the range of work we have undertaken. You can see more on our web site: Cold War Projects.

We have two publications which you can access online: Recount and Northern Exchange: Cold War Histories and Nuclear Futures.
