I made this silent film in Shetland in 2009. It is a subject that I had wanted to tackle for many years and one day the conditions were right, and I had the time and equipment to film. I used to love watching the mist pour over the Clift Hills from my window. Sadly this view is now obstructed by a new house. The title is taken from Veer North's international project in 2009-2010, Crossing Waater. I've exhibited the film twice, at The New Art Gallery Walsall and the Bonhoga Gallery in Shetland.
