It is not certain when Echolalia arrived in London. Originally from Buenes Aires, Argentina, she learned to love all things pink as she grew up. She felt at home in London and also travelled to Birmingham, Paris and Venice. She invited friends to parties, usually garden parties, but she also organised tea parties and birthday parties. Potential guests were sent a handmade invitation through the post, and if they sent her an R.S.V.P. or appeared at the party, they also received a memento. Often these were rose scented.
